Reading the marking: ceramic and many film parts carry a three-digit code in picofarads, so 102 is 1,000 pF (1 nF), 473 is 47 nF and 104 is 100 nF (0.1 uF). A trailing letter gives the tolerance (J = 5%, K = 10%, M = 20%), and a voltage often follows, such as 1KV.
For a replacement, match capacitance, match or exceed the voltage rating, and match the dielectric where it matters (C0G for timing and filters, film for audio coupling, safety-rated X types across the line and Y types from line to ground).
