Unbranded is the label for parts with no maker's name on them. With no brand to go by, identify one by its markings, value and package.
The parts here include high-voltage ceramic disc capacitors, film and multilayer ceramic capacitors, metal film and carbon resistors, 2N-series and other transistors, zener, Schottky and TVS diodes, 5 mm and 10 mm LEDs, quartz crystals, inductors and ferrite chokes, breadboards and jumper wires.
How to read one: on a small capacitor, a three-digit code gives the value in picofarads, two digits and a multiplier, so 104 is 100,000 pF (0.1 uF) and 222 is 2,200 pF. A letter after it gives tolerance (J is 5%, K is 10%, M is 20%), and a code such as 2A in front gives voltage (1H is 50 V, 2A is 100 V).
