Transistors from small-signal TO-92 parts to TO-3 power cans. Browse Bipolar Transistors (BJT) for NPN and PNP small-signal, driver and power types (2N-series, TIP, MJ and Japanese 2SA/2SB/2SC/2SD parts), or FETs & MOSFETs for JFETs and power MOSFETs.
Plenty of these are vintage parts with gold-plated leads and metal cans, the kind you need when restoring test gear, radios and audio amplifiers to original spec. Japanese transistors are often marked without their 2S prefix, so a body reading C5027 is almost always a 2SC5027.
For a replacement, match polarity (NPN or PNP, N- or P-channel), package and pinout (pinouts vary, especially on TO-92, where Japanese and US parts often differ), then voltage, current and power ratings at or above the original, and gain and frequency (hFE, fT) for audio and RF stages.
Makers include Motorola, National Semiconductor, RCA, Fairchild, STMicroelectronics, Siliconix, Texas Instruments and Toshiba.
