Texas Instruments Parts
Jack Kilby at Texas Instruments demonstrated the first integrated circuit in 1958, and TI introduced the 7400-series TTL logic family that became the industry standard. TI parts cover logic, op amps, timers, PWM and power controllers, interface chips and transistors, and TI bought National Semiconductor in 2011.
How to spot one: TI logic carries the SN prefix (SN74LS, SN74ALS, SN74AS, SN7406), and TI linear parts use TL, UA, UC and LM numbers. On DIP parts, N or P is plastic and J or JG is ceramic.
TI parts on PartsMine fall mostly into Logic ICs, Power Management, Amplifiers, Interface & Driver ICs, Analog & Signal and Bipolar Transistors. See also National Semiconductor.
