Murata Parts
Murata Manufacturing was founded in Kyoto in 1944 by Akira Murata and started out making titanium-oxide ceramic capacitors. It went on to make ceramic filters for radio and TV, and EMIFIL noise suppression filters.
The Murata parts here are radial-lead ceramic capacitors in C0G and X7R dielectrics, high-voltage ceramic discs, safety-rated ceramic disc capacitors for AC-line use, three-terminal EMIFIL noise filters, and 10.7 MHz ceramic bandpass filters for FM radio IF stages.
How to read one: the three-digit code is picofarads, two figures and a count of zeros, so 472 is 4700 pF (4.7 nF) and 683 is 68 nF. K is 10 percent tolerance and M is 20 percent. Replace a safety capacitor with one of the same class and rating.
