Vishay Parts
Vishay Intertechnology was founded in 1962 by Felix Zandman and is based in Malvern, Pennsylvania. It grew by buying other makers, including Dale Electronics, Sprague, Siliconix, Cera-Mite and General Semiconductor, so many older brands now carry the Vishay name.
The Vishay parts here span passives and discretes: surface-mount tantalum capacitors, ceramic capacitors including X1/Y1 EMI suppression and disc safety types, surface-mount chip resistors, fast-recovery and standard rectifier diodes in SMA and axial packages, and phototransistor optocouplers.
