Vishay Dale Parts
Dale Electronics was a Nebraska resistor maker, once the largest wirewound resistor maker in the world outside Japan. Vishay bought half of Dale in 1985 and the rest in 1988, and Dale resistors now carry the Vishay Dale name.
The Vishay Dale parts here are 1 percent metal film axial resistors built to military styles RN55 and RNC55, surface-mount wirewound power resistors, and DIP resistor networks.
How to read one: in a number such as RN55D1212F, RN55 is the style, the next letter is the temperature coefficient (C is 50 ppm, D is 100 ppm, E is 25 ppm), the four digits are the value (1212 is 12.1k ohms: three figures and a count of zeros) and F is 1 percent.
