Swagelok Parts
Swagelok, based in Solon, Ohio, has made tube fittings since the 1940s and is known for its two-ferrule compression tube fitting, used on instrument, process and laboratory tubing lines.
The Swagelok parts here are tube fittings and line hardware: unions, union tees, male connectors, reducers, plugs and front ferrules, tube support brackets, a quick connect, and ball and plug valves.
How to spot one: the letters at the front of a Swagelok number give the material (SS is 316 stainless steel, B is brass, S is carbon steel), and the size codes count the tube OD in sixteenths of an inch, so 400 or 4 is 1/4 in. and 600 or 6 is 3/8 in. Metric fittings carry an M in the size code, such as 6M0 for 6 mm tube. Match tube OD and material when you add a fitting to a line.
