Product Overview
Genuine Swagelok 316 Stainless Plug for 7/8 in. Tube Fittings, Unused with Factory Bag
Condition
Unused, new old stock. Genuine Swagelok, part number SS-1410-P. It comes with its factory poly bag, blue and white with the Swagelok script, and the printed label reads SS-1410-P, order code D1IKP0658S, SJ0610, 1 PCS, ASSEMBLY, and IDAHO. The bag is torn open at the top and the part is out of it. The 316 stainless body is clean and bright, the hex flats are unmarked, the plug face shows the concentric turning marks left by the factory lathe, and the nut is still on the plug, with the bag label reading ASSEMBLY. Against the millimeter ruler the hex measures roughly 32 to 33 mm across the flats, about 1-1/4 in. No corrosion, galling, thread sealant, or wrench marks are visible in these photos.

Product Overview
The Swagelok SS-1410-P closes off a 7/8 in. Swagelok tube fitting so a fluid or gas system can be pressurized, tested, or run with a port left unused. It is machined from 316 stainless steel, the standard alloy for instrumentation and process tubing where corrosion resistance matters, and it is supplied as a complete assembly rather than a bare body: the ASSEMBLY line on the bag label is what tells you the nut and ferrules come fitted to the plug, and photo 1 shows the nut in place with a plated ring seated under it. The digits in the part number follow Swagelok's own convention, with 14 marking the 7/8 in. tube size in sixteenths and the P suffix marking the plug. One piece, still bagged, and it blanks the port without cutting tubing or leaving a dead leg. Pressure and temperature ratings are not confirmed here, so check Swagelok's published data for your tube size and service before you put it in a live system.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it include the nut and ferrules, or just the plug body?
The bag label reads ASSEMBLY, and photo 1 shows the nut on the plug with a plated ring seated under it. The ferrules sit inside the nut, so the photos cannot show them directly. Nothing has to be sourced separately to make it up.
Is this a plug that goes into a fitting, or a cap that goes over a tube end?
The part number is SS-1410-P and the P suffix is Swagelok's designation for a plug, which is the piece that goes into a female 7/8 in. tube fitting. A cap, the piece that goes over a male tube end, carries a different suffix. Match the part number to your Swagelok catalog page before ordering if your port is unusual.
What pressure and temperature can it take?
Not confirmed by us. We do not pressure test parts, and ratings depend on tube size, wall, and service. Look up SS-1410-P in Swagelok's published data and confirm it against your system before installing.
Has it ever been installed?
It is listed as unused new old stock, and the photos are consistent with that: factory machining marks on the plug face, unmarked hex flats, and a nut that sits as shipped. The bag is torn open at the top, and the photos do not show when or why it was opened.
Why buy a single plug here instead of a multipack from a distributor?
Because a job usually needs one port closed, not ten. PartsMine sells the exact quantity you need, one piece for the repair or the build in front of you, instead of forcing a lot of 10 or 50. Shipping is $8 flat rate and free over $28, and orders leave our Idaho warehouse the same or next business day.
The label reads SS-1410-P, 1 PCS, IDAHO - one plug that got ordered for a system it never went into. It is still in Idaho, and it is still waiting on the port you need closed.
