Amphenol Parts

Amphenol was founded in Chicago in 1932 by Arthur J. Schmitt as American Phenolic Corporation, the source of its name, and is now based in Wallingford, Connecticut. It is one of the major makers of connectors and cable assemblies.

The Amphenol parts here are RF coaxial connectors and adapters: BNC plugs, jacks, bulkhead and right-angle adapters, MHV high-voltage plugs, TNC to BNC adapters and RG-58 connector assemblies, plus MS3102 and 97-series circular connectors and Bergstak board-to-board plugs.

How to spot one: an MS3102 is a box-mount receptacle built to MIL-DTL-5015, and it mates with MS3106 straight and MS3108 right-angle plugs. For coax, match the connector type, the impedance and the cable group (such as RG-58 or RG-59); MHV looks like BNC but is a different high-voltage connector, so do not mix them.
