Xilinx Parts
Xilinx was founded in Silicon Valley in 1984 and made the first commercially viable field-programmable gate array (FPGA). It also made CPLDs and the configuration PROMs that load an FPGA at power-up. AMD completed its purchase of Xilinx in 2022.
The Xilinx parts here are configuration PROMs, including XC18V04 in-system programmable PROMs and 8-pin serial PROMs, and XC3000 family FPGAs mounted on breakout boards.
When you replace a configuration PROM, match its size to the FPGA it loads and plan to program it with the design file for that board.
