Fairchild Semiconductor Parts
Fairchild Semiconductor was founded in 1957 by the 'traitorous eight', engineers who left Shockley's lab. Jean Hoerni developed the planar process there, and in 1960 Fairchild built the first silicon integrated circuit. National Semiconductor bought Fairchild in 1987, it became independent again in 1997, and ON Semiconductor bought it in 2016.
The Fairchild parts here are 2N-series and house-numbered small-signal and power transistors, some with gold leads, power MOSFETs, 78-series voltage regulators, shunt voltage references, 74LS, 74ALS and TinyLogic parts, op amps, nixie decoder drivers, diode arrays and bridge rectifiers.
