One Banner EZ-LIGHT K50 Dome, Three Colors, One M12 Connection
Condition
Single unit, sold as one indicator. The owner rules this unused NOS in excellent condition with nothing out of the ordinary noted; evaluation was visual inspection only and function testing was not performed. In the photos the pale green 50 mm dome is smooth and unmarked, and the black housing band carries crisp white printing for K50LGRYPQ, 18-30Vdc, 40mA max per color and TYPE 4X, 13, alongside the Banner oval, a CE mark and a cULus LISTED mark, plus a further two-line printed block beside the UL mark that is not legible in these photos. The M12 male connector shows four gold pins, clean and intact, with the threads unmarred. The closer angles also show light surface marks across the black barrel and minor scuffs along the housing edge, described here exactly as the camera shows them. A small white adhesive label printed 75671 sits on the threaded barrel; we have not confirmed whether that is a Banner part number or a distributor code, so it is noted and not attributed. Instructions and paperwork, the M12 cordset and any mounting hardware are not included. The unit came to us from a systems integrator clearing out stock.

The Banner Engineering K50LGRYPQ is a 50 mm EZ-LIGHT K50 indicator that puts green, red and yellow into a single dome instead of a three-tier stack, which is why it turns up on machines where a tower light will not fit or will not survive. It runs on 18 to 30 Vdc and draws up to 40 mA per color, both figures printed on the housing itself, and it takes PNP (sourcing) control inputs - the P in the model code - so the three colors are driven from three sourcing outputs. The GRY in the code is the color order, and the Q is the integral 4-pin M12 male quick disconnect visible in the last two photos, which means the machine builder mates a cordset instead of pulling wire through a gland. The threaded barrel drops through a 30 mm panel hole; Banner specifies M30 x 1.5 for the K50 series, and the thread was not measured here. The environmental marking legible on this housing is TYPE 4X, 13, the NEMA ratings for hosedown and corrosion and for oil and coolant. No IEC IP rating appears in the housing print we can read, and a two-line block beside the UL mark is not readable in these photos: not confirmed - verify against the datasheet before use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with an NPN (sinking) PLC output?
No. This is the PNP (sourcing) input model and is intended for PNP control outputs. Driving it from sinking outputs is not the design intent.
Can it run on 120V AC?
No. The housing is printed 18-30Vdc. Applying line voltage will damage it.
Does the M12 cordset come with it?
No. This is the quick disconnect version, so it needs a separate 4-pin M12 female cordset. Mounting hardware and paperwork are not included either.
Is it rated for washdown?
The housing is marked TYPE 4X, 13, the NEMA ratings covering hosedown and corrosion resistance plus oil and coolant. No IEC IP rating appears in the housing print we can read, and a two-line block beside the UL mark is not readable in these photos: not confirmed - verify against the datasheet before putting it in a high pressure washdown position.
Nobody has powered this one up, so what am I actually buying?
You are buying one specific indicator, photographed from six angles, unused NOS by our count and evaluated by eye only. It has not been energized, so the LEDs are untested and the photos are the spec: the dome is clean, the M12 pins are bright and undamaged, and the black housing carries light surface marks and a few minor scuffs along the edge. You take on the function risk, and in exchange you get a known piece with legible housing markings rather than an unphotographed unit out of a bin. This one clears our free shipping line on its own, and orders leave the Idaho warehouse the same or next business day.
Banner built the K50 for the spot where a three-tier stack light will not fit: one 50 mm dome, three colors, one M12 lead. Give it a sourcing output and a cordset, and the machine gets its run, warn and fault voice back.
