The Burr-Brown DAC73K is a 8-channel, 16-bit, 1.5 MSPS, delta-sigma modulator designed for audio applications. The DAC73K has a full-scale output of 0.8 V pp , ±0.1 dB , and includes a bypass mode which can be used to drive the output directly without buffering. The DAC73K features a very low noise level of -90 dBc/Hz , a THD of -90 dBc at full-scale output, and an SNR of 115 dB , both measured with an analog input signal of -20 dBFS (1.4 V rms). The DAC73K is ideal for use in personal computers, digital mixing consoles, audio test equipment, and any application requiring 16-bit resolution and high performance.
