Frequently Asked Questions
What size banana plugs does this coupler accept?
It accepts standard 4.22 mm (0.166 in) male banana plugs at both ends.
What is the operating temperature range?
The maximum operating temperature rating is +55°C (+131°F).
Can this splice accommodate shrouded or safety banana plugs?
No. The barrel openings are sized for standard unshrouded banana plugs. Extended plastic safety collars or shrouded sleeves will not seat into the recessed contacts.
When a test lead comes up six inches short of the back panel, an inline splice turns two ordinary jumpers into the reach you need. Plug in on both ends and get back to troubleshooting.
