Burndy Parts
Burndy was founded in 1924 by Bern Dibner in Brooklyn and makes electrical connectors and lugs for power and utility work. Hubbell bought Burndy in 2009.
The Burndy parts here are YA HYLUG copper two-hole compression lugs, in sizes from 8 AWG to 250 kcmil, for 1/4 in. and 1/2 in. stud bolts.
How to spot one: the number after YA gives the wire size, such as 8 for 8 AWG, 26 for 2/0 and 29 for 250 kcmil, and the 2N ending marks two holes at NEMA spacing. Each lug carries a color code and a die index number; crimp it with the die that matches.
