Bourns Parts
Bourns was founded by Marlan and Rosemary Bourns in a garage in Altadena, California, and is now based in Riverside. In 1952 it patented the first trimming potentiometer, trademarked Trimpot, and it also makes inductors and circuit protection parts.
The Bourns parts here are multi-turn Trimpot trimmers, radial drum-core inductors and Multifuse PPTC resettable fuses.
How to spot one: the last three digits of a Trimpot number give the resistance, two figures and a multiplier, so 102 is 1 kohm and 502 is 5 kohm. Match the series, the pin layout and the adjustment side when you replace one.
