Littelfuse Parts

Littelfuse was founded in Chicago in 1927 to make small fuses that protected electrical test meters, and it grew into one of the largest fuse makers. It bought the German fuse maker Wickmann in 2004 and the Raychem PolySwitch resettable fuse line in 2016.

The Littelfuse parts here are fuses: 3AG and 5x20 mm glass cartridge fuses, PICO II and MICRO axial fuses, PTC resettable fuses, a POWR-GARD time-delay fuse and axial-lead cartridge fuses.

How to spot one: the first digits of a Littelfuse number name the series (251 is PICO II, 273 is MICRO, 311 is 3AG fast-acting glass) and the rest give the current rating. Replace a fuse with the same size, current, voltage and speed; a fast-acting fuse and a time-delay fuse are not interchangeable.
