This is the 1.5KE300CA, the 300 V member of the 1.5KE family of 1500 W axial transient voltage suppressors that has been second-sourced by several makers under exactly that spelling for decades. The photographed unit is a black molded axial body on bright leads, marked KE 300 with the leading characters wrapping around out of frame; no maker's mark is visible in these photos, so we attribute the part to no manufacturer.
