Product Overview

Honeywell SenSym ST2P15G4A 15 PSI Gauge Pressure Transducer with Mating Cordset, Unused

Condition

Unused, new old stock. The photographed sample is representative of the stock on hand. Its SenSym label is intact and legible, reading ID# ST2P15G4A and D/C 080. The body is bright bare metal with a machined hex flat, and the process port at the base is internally threaded and clean. On the opposite end, the four-pin threaded circular connector sits undisturbed under its four retaining screws in a molded plastic base carrying characters that read W. GERMANY along with a partly legible molded code. The cable is a separate mating cordset rather than a permanently attached lead: a right-angle connector with a knurled metal coupling nut, a gray jacket, and a free end broken out into three conductors, brown, black and blue, fitted with crimped ferrules. The cordset body is molded with a lowercase h inside an oval and the marking S 412. The sample is also shown bagged inside a plain corrugated box lined with white padding, and out of the bag for the close-up photos.

Product Overview

The SenSym ST2P15G4A is an industrial pressure transducer configured for gauge measurement, reading 0 to 15 psi relative to ambient atmosphere rather than against a sealed vacuum reference. The sensing element sits inside a cylindrical housing that this listing has always described as stainless steel; the photos show bright bare metal and no alloy marking is visible in any of them, so treat the wetted material as unconfirmed and verify against the datasheet before use. Pressure enters through a female threaded port machined into the base, and a hex flat on the body lets you tighten it into a fitting without twisting the housing or the label. The electrical end is a four-pin threaded circular connector rather than a pigtail, which is why a mating cordset is included with each unit: right-angle body, knurled coupling nut, gray jacket, ferruled flying leads at the far end ready to land on a terminal strip. Thread size, cable length, supply voltage and output type are not marked on the part and are not confirmed here - verify against the datasheet before plumbing or wiring this into a system.

Key Features

  • SenSym label marked ID# ST2P15G4A with date code 080
  • 15 psi gauge pressure range, referenced to ambient
  • Cylindrical metal body with a machined hex flat for wrenching
  • Female threaded process port in the base
  • Four-pin threaded circular connector on the cap end, held by four screws
  • Connector base molded with characters reading W. GERMANY
  • Mating right-angle cordset included with each unit, knurled metal coupling nut
  • Cordset free end broken out into three conductors with crimped ferrules
  • Cordset body molded with a lowercase h logo and the marking S 412
  • Unused, new old stock, sold each

Applications

  • A machine builder adding low-range gauge measurement to a pneumatic test fixture, who wants the mating cordset in the same box instead of sourcing it separately
  • A maintenance tech replacing a dead 15 psi transducer on a legacy skid whose original SenSym part number is long out of production
  • A test-stand or lab builder monitoring low-pressure air or a compatible liquid, where a 15 psi full scale keeps resolution down where the readings actually live
  • A panel retrofit already wired for a four-pin circular receptacle, where a matching cordset avoids reworking the harness

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the cable attached to the sensor?

No. Earlier copy on this listing called it a factory-attached cable, and the photos say otherwise. The cable is a separate mating cordset that screws down onto the four-pin connector on the sensor's cap end with a knurled coupling nut. One sensor and one cordset make up the unit.

What does the gauge configuration mean in practice?

The ST2P15G4A reads pressure relative to the ambient atmosphere, so the bottom of its range corresponds to open air rather than to vacuum.

What thread does the process port take?

The port is internally threaded and the body carries a hex flat for a wrench, but no thread callout appears on the part in these photos. Not confirmed - verify against the datasheet before use.

What supply voltage does it need, and what does it output?

Neither figure is marked on the label or the housing. Not confirmed - verify against the datasheet before wiring this to a PLC analog input or a data acquisition channel.

Why buy this one transducer instead of chasing a surplus lot?

Because you get a known piece instead of a crate of unknowns. This is one individually listed SenSym transducer with its mating cordset, sold each, photographed close enough that you can read the label, look into the process port and count the connector pins before you commit. The unit in the photos is representative of the stock on hand. It clears our $28 free-shipping threshold on its own, and orders leave our Idaho warehouse the same or next business day.

Fifteen psi full scale sounds like a modest number until you remember it is exactly the range where a slow leak, a loading filter, or a tank quietly breathing gives itself away. Thread it in, screw the cordset down, and let it tell you what your system has been doing while nobody was watching.
