Will it take the full 10 watts sitting in free air?

No. The 10 watt figure on an RH-style housing assumes the case is fastened down to a heatsink or a metal chassis that can move the heat away. Standing in open air the safe dissipation is considerably lower, so mount it to metal if you intend to work it hard.

What is the 7606 printed after the ratings?

It is a factory code printed on the housing after the value, tolerance, and wattage. Four digit codes in that position are commonly read as a date code, but we have not confirmed that reading for this part, so treat 7606 as a marking rather than a specification.

What is the maximum working voltage?

Not confirmed - verify against the datasheet before use. As arithmetic only, 10 watts into 2,000 ohms puts roughly 141 volts across the part at full rated dissipation, but the published series voltage limit is a separate number we cannot confirm here.

Does the wirewound inductance matter?
