Dale Parts

Dale Electronics made resistors in Columbus, Nebraska. Vishay bought Dale in 1985, and current production carries the Vishay Dale name.

The Dale parts here are RH aluminum-housed wirewound power resistors that bolt to a chassis, plus RN-style axial metal film resistors.

How to spot one: the number after RH is the power class (RH-10, RH-25, RH-50). Those watt ratings assume the resistor is bolted to a metal chassis or heat sink; mounted in free air, it handles far less power, so match the size and mount it the same way.
