National Instruments Parts
National Instruments (NI) was founded in Austin, Texas, in 1976 by James Truchard, Jeff Kodosky and Bill Nowlin, and is known for LabVIEW software and data acquisition hardware. Emerson bought NI in 2023, and it now runs as Emerson's test and measurement business.
The NI parts here are data acquisition accessories and modules: SCXI relay and terminal block modules, isolated analog input modules, screw terminal and shielded connector blocks, signal panelettes, FieldPoint digital output modules, PXI serial cards and cable strain relief clamps.
SCXI is NI's signal conditioning system for the front end of a data acquisition setup, and PXI is the CompactPCI-based modular instrument format.
