Jim-Pak was a hobby-electronics line of parts packed for retail racks: CMOS and TTL chips, trimmer potentiometers, quartz crystals, IC sockets and other bench staples, sold to hobbyists and students building their own projects.
The part inside a Jim-Pak package was made by a semiconductor or component maker and carries that maker's marking, so a Jim-Pak CMOS chip can carry a Motorola marking. Match the part number printed on the part, not only the number on the card.
