Product Overview
The MAX667 is the low-dropout linear regulator Maxim built for battery work: 250 mA out, 350 mV maximum dropout at 200 mA, and a 20 microamp typical quiescent draw that does not eat the battery while the load sleeps. The CPA suffix on this body is the commercial 0 to +70 degC grade in the 8-pin plastic DIP, per the MAX667 datasheet ordering table (Maxim 19-3894 Rev 4), shown in the listing images. Two pieces are on the shelf, sold each, and the CPA9709 string reads as a 1997 week 09 date code under Maxim's usual convention.
