General Electric Parts
General Electric was formed in 1892 by the merger of Edison General Electric and Thomson-Houston, and it made motor controls, industrial switches and semiconductors among its many lines. GE sold its semiconductor business to Harris in 1988 and its industrial motor-control business to ABB in 2018.
The GE parts here are mostly CR123 thermal overload heater elements for GE motor starters, plus CR2940 oil-tight push buttons and selector switches, terminal blocks, SCRs including stud-mount and gold-lead parts, and power and gold-lead transistors.
To replace an overload heater, match the number of the heater that came out of the starter, then check it against the heater table in the starter for the motor's full-load current.
