Analog Devices Parts
Analog Devices was founded in 1965 by Ray Stata and Matthew Lorber in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and makes data converters, amplifiers and signal-processing ICs. It bought Precision Monolithics (PMI) in 1990, Linear Technology in 2017 and Maxim Integrated in 2021.
The Analog Devices parts here are DACs, including audio DACs, sample-and-hold amplifiers, JFET and BiFET op amps, switching regulators from the Linear Technology line, linear ICs in metal cans and 5B isolated signal-conditioning modules for voltage and thermocouple inputs.
How to spot one: AD is the house prefix, while OP and DAC numbers such as the DAC08 came from PMI and LTC numbers came from Linear Technology.
