Amphenol RF 132170 is a straight, in-series SMA female-to-female bulkhead adapter rated from DC to 18 GHz at 50 Ohms. It mounts through a panel or enclosure wall, securing with the included hex nut and internal tooth lock washer to create a stable, low-loss coaxial feed-through. Gold-plated brass body, beryllium copper contacts, and PTFE insulation. Both jacks accept standard SMA male plugs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with RP-SMA connectors used on consumer Wi-Fi routers and most FPV gear?
No. The 132170 uses standard SMA jacks - the center receptacle is a female socket. RP-SMA connectors have a male pin in a female-threaded body. The threads will engage but the center contacts will not mate correctly. If your cables or antennas are RP-SMA, you need the 132170-10RP-RP variant instead.
Is this rated for outdoor or weatherproof enclosures?
No. The standard 132170 does not include an O-ring gasket and carries no IP rating. For outdoor or sealed enclosures requiring IP68 weatherproofing, look for the 132170-12 variant, which adds an integrated O-ring seal.
What panel thickness is compatible with this adapter?
Panel thickness compatibility depends on the length of the external threads. Verify the maximum panel thickness against the mechanical drawing for this part before installation - the hex nut and lock washer must be able to thread on fully and clamp the panel to hold the adapter securely.
Is this compatible with 75-Ohm coaxial systems - cable TV, video distribution, or BNC-terminated coax?
No. This adapter is a 50-Ohm component. Connecting it into a 75-Ohm system will cause impedance mismatch, signal reflections, and potential degradation of sensitive equipment. It is also not a physical fit for F-type, BNC, or other 75-Ohm connector families.
