Signetics Parts
Signetics was founded in Sunnyvale, California, in 1961, set up specifically to make integrated circuits. It introduced the 555 timer in 1972, and its parent, Corning Glass, sold Signetics to Philips in 1975. Philips kept the Signetics name for some years.
The Signetics parts here are TTL logic in the 74S and 74H families, including gates and multiplexers, Utilogic line drivers, bipolar PROMs, USART serial interface chips and low-noise PNP transistors.
