In the photos the yellow housing is clean and unmarked, all twenty-four terminal positions are populated with their connectors seated, the micro-USB and RJ45 jacks are clear, and the black DIN rail latch and its springs are intact on the back. Both printed side faces are fully legible, including the wiring diagram, the LED status legend, the wire preparation callout and the data plate carrying P/N 806222, a MAC address and a serial number. Product Overview
The Banner Engineering SC10-2roe is a fixed I/O safety controller that puts ten safety inputs and two force-guided relay output channels on one DIN rail block instead of a row of discrete safety relays. The markings on the housing split the input side into six dedicated inputs, IN1 through IN6, rated 0-24V dc at 5 mA typical, and four convertible points, IO1 through IO4, that can each work as an input on the same 0-24V dc, 5 mA basis or as a 24V dc output rated 80 mA maximum. The two output channels are RO1, on terminals 13, 23, 33, 34, 24 and 14, and RO2, on terminals 43, 53, 63, 64, 54 and 44, each driven by a force-guided relay pair drawn on the label as K1/K2 and K3/K4. The safety ratings printed on the unit are Cat. 4, PL e (EN ISO 13849) and SIL CL 3 (IEC 62016, IEC 61508) exactly as the housing prints them, and the same face carries the cULus Listed Programmable Safety Controller (NRGF) mark along with CE and CCC. Power is 24V dc +/-20% at 240 mA, 5.76 W plus load, the marked operating range is 0 to 55°C, and the terminals take 0.2 mm² to 2.08 mm² conductors (24 AWG to 14 AWG) stripped 8 to 9 mm. Configuration is loaded through the micro-USB port on the front using Banner's safety controller software; the front also carries an RJ45 Ethernet jack, and the data plate lists a MAC address for it. Not confirmed - verify against the datasheet which network functions and protocols that port supports before you design around it.

What can the relay contacts switch?
The UL rating printed on the housing is 6A at 250V ac or 24V dc, B300 / Q300 pilot duty. Under IEC 60947-5-1 the same contacts are rated AC-15 3A at 250V and DC-13 2A at 24V, or 4A at 24V switching at 0.1 Hz. These are mechanical relay contacts, so contact life follows load and cycle rate; this is not the controller to pick for high frequency jogging duty.
What is included, and how is it configured?
What appears in the photos is the controller itself. No USB cable, memory module, software license or printed manual is included. Configuration is loaded through the front micro-USB port with Banner's safety controller software, which you obtain from Banner.
Does it hold a configuration right now?
We have not powered it up, so we cannot tell you whether it carries a program or sits at factory default. The LED legend printed on the housing covers exactly that question, with separate USB indications for configured with a USB match, configured with USB not connected, not configured at factory default, and configured with a USB mismatch fault. First power-up will tell you which state you have.
