Mitsubishi Parts
Mitsubishi Electric was founded in Tokyo in 1921. In 2003 it combined its non-DRAM semiconductor business with Hitachi's to form Renesas Technology.
The Mitsubishi parts here are mostly M74LS-series low-power Schottky TTL logic in plastic DIP: NAND and AND gates, hex inverters, monostable multivibrators and line decoders. Also here: serial communication interface chips for 8-bit microprocessor systems and dynamic focus controller ICs for CRT displays.
How to spot one: Mitsubishi logic carries an M ahead of the industry number, so an M74LS00P is a 74LS00 in a plastic DIP and swaps with any other maker's 74LS00 in the same package.
