Swagelok SS-43GS4 is a one-piece, 2-way straight-pattern instrumentation ball valve from the 40G Series. It accepts 1/4 in. OD tubing via the Swagelok two-ferrule compression fitting system on both ends. Body and wetted parts are 316 stainless steel. Packing is modified PTFE/UHMWPE. Rated to 3000 PSIG at 100°F with a Cv of 1.4. Widely used in analytical instrumentation, lab gas delivery, and high-pressure fluid systems where a compact, leak-tight manual shutoff is required.

For oxygen service or semiconductor-grade purity, the SS-43GS4-SC11 variant is required. Not confirmed whether these units received any special cleaning beyond standard.
Can the internal seals be replaced if worn?
The one-piece body design makes internal seal replacement difficult without specialized tools. Inspect the valve action before installation in critical service. Valve action was confirmed smooth on these units during visual evaluation.
Does this include the latch-lock (LOTO) handle?
No. This is the standard lever handle. The latch-lock variant is the SS-43GS4-LL.
