Condition
Unused, new old stock. The contactor comes with its original Eaton Cutler-Hammer carton, and the carton is the part that shows its age: the white box is lightly soiled and rubbed along the edges and one corner from years on a shelf. The contactor itself is clean. The black molded housing carries no installation marks or heat discoloration, the quick-connect tabs are bright, and the screw heads show no driver damage. A small white label reading 100414 sits on the zinc-plated steel mounting bracket and matches the same number printed on the box label. The photographed piece is representative of the stock on hand.

What coil voltage does this contactor need?
24 VAC, 50/60 Hz. It is printed on the nameplate as COIL: 24V 50/60Hz, and both coil quick-connects are individually marked 24VAC/50Hz and 24VAC/60Hz, with A1 molded into the housing beside them. This is the standard control voltage for residential and light commercial HVAC, so if your existing transformer feeds a 24 volt thermostat circuit, the coil matches.
How much can it switch, and at what voltage?
The box label states AMPS: 25 @ 600V and RES: 35 @ 600V. The nameplate breaks the same rating out per pole across four supply voltages: 25 FLA and 35 amps resistive at 115, 230, 460 and 575 VAC, with locked-rotor figures of 150, 150, 125 and 100 amps and horsepower ratings of 2 HP at 115 VAC and 3 HP at 230 VAC. Our earlier copy listed a 277 VAC rating; neither the box nor the nameplate shows that figure, so we have replaced it with what is actually printed on this unit. The nameplate is legible in the photos, so check it against your application before you order.
Are the terminals screw type or quick-connect?
Both, at each power terminal. The top-down photo shows a captive screw terminal on the line end and another on the load end, with quick-connect spade tabs alongside each one, so you can land a ring lug or push on a spade without an adapter. The nameplate specifies 30 lb-in of torque on 10 to 16 AWG copper wire rated 75 C.
The box says one pole, but the housing is marked L1, L2, T1 and T2. What am I actually getting?
A single-pole contactor. The box label reads POLE: 1 and the wiring diagram on the nameplate shows one L1 to T1 pole with the A1 and A2 coil terminals. The molded housing carries L1, L2, T1 and T2 lettering, but the photos show one power terminal position fitted at each end. Look at the top-down and rear views before you order if your circuit needs a second switched leg.
