Condition

New and unused. The photographed piece is a blue molded box case with the marking still crisp on one narrow end: 1u M 275V~ X2 on the upper line and PILKOR WK9611 below it. The case carries light cosmetic marks from handling and shelf time - faint dark scuff lines and a little lint on the broad faces, and light grey rub marks along one long edge. Both radial leads are full length, straight, and bright, with no solder, flux, or trim marks on them. Against the ruler in the last photo the body measures roughly 32 mm wide by 24 mm tall, with the leads on a wide radial spacing of about 27 mm. Sold each; the piece shown is representative of stock, and markings and surface marks vary slightly from one to the next.

Why does this listing not repeat the dielectric type and agency approvals?

Because we cannot see them. The older copy carried a family spec block - a capacitance range, a climatic category, a temperature range, and VDE, UL and CSA marks - that none of these photos support and that we cannot confirm on the piece in hand. We took it out rather than leave a spec we could not stand behind. What the case says is what we say.

Are the leads really unused?

They are. Both leads run full length, straight, and bright, with no solder, flux, or trim marks anywhere on them, and you can see that in the first, second, and fourth photos - the angled view, the flat face view, and the ruler shot. The third photo is an end-on close-up of the marked face, so no lead is in that frame. The only marks on the part are cosmetic ones on the plastic case. An earlier version of this listing was graded used; that was a mistake in our own records, and it has been corrected to new and unused.
