Product Overview
Tektronix P6063B Probe Replacement Parts - Body Halves, Switch Position Indicators and Push Buttons
Condition
New. The pieces are photographed exactly as they are stocked, in five bags: four are Tektronix bags carrying the blue and white Beaverton, Oregon labels, and the fifth is a plain resealable zip bag. Two of those bags read QTY 1 EACH 214-2041-00 with lot code 6235B, and the close-up shows a small translucent switch position indicator printed 1X and 10X inside one of them. Another bag reads QTY 1 EACH 204-0595-00 with lot code 8163B over a black molded probe body half. A fourth bag, printed with the Tektronix Beaverton return address and a part number ending in 0596, holds the black bottom body half molded on its face with P6063B, 1X-10X and GND REF. The black push buttons come in a plain unlabeled zip bag, and that bag is photographed with two small black square buttons plus two slender pin shaped pieces visible alongside them. No intact factory seal is legible in any photo, so treat the Tektronix bags as original labeled packaging rather than as certified sealed. The plastic shows no cracks, scuffing or yellowing in any photo.

Product Overview
This is a small lot of Tektronix factory replacement parts for the P6063B probe, covering the pieces that crack, wander off or go unreadable first: the two halves of the probe switch housing, the switch position indicator windows, and the black push buttons that ride in them. The last photo is the Tektronix Replaceable Parts List page for the P6063B probe with four figure callouts highlighted, and those four callouts are what is in the bag: Fig. 4, 204-0595-00, BODY HALF, PROBE; Fig. 5, 366-1529-01, PUSH BUTTON, BLACK; Fig. 6, 204-0596-03, BODY HALF, PROBE, BOTTOM; and Fig. 7, 214-2041-00, IND, SWITCH POSN. The bottom half in these photos carries the molded legend P6063B, 1X-10X and GND REF, so the attenuation markings read the way the original probe face read rather than a blank generic shell. Nothing here is electrical: these are the molded housing and switch cosmetics that make a working probe usable again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Exactly which Tektronix part numbers are in this lot?
Four: 204-0595-00 and 204-0596-03 body halves, 214-2041-00 switch position indicators, and 366-1529-01 black push buttons. The 214-2041-00 bags and the 204-0595-00 bag are photographed with their labels legible; the push buttons arrive in a plain unlabeled bag, so their part number comes from our records rather than from a printed label.
Will these fit any Tektronix probe, or only the P6063B?
The parts list page photographed here is the P6063B list, and the bottom body half is molded P6063B. Fitment on any other probe model is not confirmed - check the replaceable parts list for your own probe before ordering.
Are these used pulls off a dead probe?
No. They are stocked as new, and four of the five bags are Tektronix bags still carrying their factory labels and lot codes; the push buttons are in a plain resealable zip bag. We cannot confirm an intact factory seal from the photos. What you see through the plastic is what ships.
What is the last image, and does that page ship with the parts?
It is the Tektronix Replaceable Parts List illustration for the P6063B probe, included so you can match figure numbers to the pieces before you buy. It is a reference photo, not a printed manual included in the package.
Why buy this photographed lot instead of hunting down a donor probe?
There is one of these, and you are looking at it. Every bag, label and lot code is in the photos, so you know which four Tektronix part numbers are coming and what condition they are in before you spend anything - which is more than a parts probe on an auction site or a bin of unsorted scope accessories will ever tell you. A donor probe means paying for a whole cable and tip assembly to harvest two molded halves and a couple of buttons, then owning the leftovers. Shipping is $8 flat rate and free once the order passes $28, so this makes a sensible add-on to a larger parts order, and orders leave our Idaho warehouse the same or next business day.
Beaverton bagged these small molded pieces decades ago and labeled them without ceremony, never guessing that a cracked housing and a missing button would be the whole difference between a working probe and a drawer ornament. Snap the halves back together and your P6063B reads 1X or 10X again, exactly the way the parts list drew it.
