Product Overview

IDEC LA1P-1C08-G 16mm Green Panel Indicator, New in the Original IDEC Carton

Condition

New. Photographed here both assembled and with the lens unit lifted off the body so you can see how it goes together. The round green lens sits in a black bezel with a bright metal mounting latch; the three flat rear tabs show scuffing and fine scratch marks in the close-up, and the center tab carries a pink-orange patch. The body carries a silver IDEC label reading "HA-C00 (H6/L6)", "UL/CSA/TUV", "Applicable Lamp 28V max", "LAMP AC/DC" with CSA and UL marks and "JAPAN". The rear terminals are three flat tabs, printed in blue alongside them with NO, NC, COM and X1 / X2. A small green lamp is visible seated in the body. The original white IDEC carton is included, printed "IDEC CORPORATION", a CE mark, and "TYPE LA1P-1C08-G".

Product Overview

A 16mm round panel indicator from IDEC Corporation of Japan, a green 28V LED pilot light with solder tab / quick-connect terminals. The lamp runs on 28V, AC or DC - this is a low-voltage indicator, not a line-voltage one. The unit in these photos matches the carton it came in, which is printed TYPE LA1P-1C08-G with a CE mark, and the body label reads IDEC HA-C00 (H6/L6) with UL, CSA and TUV references and the line "Applicable Lamp 28V max, LAMP AC/DC". The three flat rear tabs are marked NO, NC and COM in blue, so the module carries switch-contact terminal legends as well as the lamp circuit. Those legends are reported here exactly as the camera reads them: confirm the terminal assignments against IDEC documentation for LA1P-1C08-G before you wire it into a live panel. Physically it is the familiar Japanese 16mm operator-panel format, the size that fills a row of status lights across a machine door.

Applications

  • Controls technician replacing a dead green "running" light in a 16mm hole without redrilling the panel door
  • Maintenance electrician keeping a Japanese-built machine's operator station original rather than mixing in a generic indicator
  • Machine builder matching an existing row of IDEC 16mm devices so the panel stays visually consistent
  • Test-fixture builder who wants a green status light with tabs that take a quick-connect instead of a screw terminal

Frequently Asked Questions

What voltage does the lamp run on?

28V, AC or DC. The body label states it plainly - "Applicable Lamp 28V max, LAMP AC/DC" - and that is the figure to design around. Feed it from a control transformer or a DC control bus, not from a line-voltage circuit.

What exactly is printed on the part itself?

The silver label on the body reads IDEC, HA-C00, (H6/L6), UL/CSA/TUV, "Applicable Lamp 28V max", "LAMP AC/DC", with CSA and UL marks and JAPAN. The LA1P-1C08-G designation appears on the original carton rather than on the body. Both are shown in the photos so you can read them yourself.

Is this a plain indicator, or does it carry switch contacts?

It is listed as a pilot light, and the rear tabs are printed NO, NC and COM in blue. We are reporting the legends as photographed and not interpreting them for you. If your application depends on a contact function, check IDEC documentation for LA1P-1C08-G before you commit the design.

How does it wire up?

Three flat blade-style tabs at the rear, suitable for soldering or for push-on quick-connect terminals. No screw terminals and no pigtail leads are involved.

Does it come with the box?

Yes. The white IDEC carton printed TYPE LA1P-1C08-G ships with the part, and it is the same box shown in the last photo.

Only one of these is in stock, so why buy this single piece instead of chasing a surplus lot?

Because you are buying the exact unit in these photographs, not a mystery from a pallet of stripped control-panel hardware. Every marking on it has been shown to you at close range, the original carton is part of the deal, and it has been listed and priced on its own instead of being buried in a lot of forty unrelated indicators you would have to sort, test and store. Shipping is $8 flat rate and free once your order passes $28, and orders leave our Idaho warehouse the same or next business day.

Green is the light nobody looks at until the morning it stays dark, and then somebody is hunting a 16mm indicator that matches the other five in the door. This one is still in its IDEC box, waiting for that hole in the panel.
