Product Overview
A seven-pole female DIN socket made for the end of a cable rather than a panel: part number 600-0700 in Deltron's 600 range, made in the UK. Seven silver-plated contacts sit in a 270-degree layout, the wires solder on, and a nickel-plated zinc alloy shell closes over the joints with a black boot behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do the wires crimp or solder?
Solder. Each of the seven contacts takes a soldered wire, so no crimp tool is needed.
Which plug does this socket accept?
A 7-pole DIN plug with the matching 270-degree contact layout, in standard or lockable style.
Most DIN sockets spend their working lives bolted into a chassis; this one rides on the end of a cable, so the jack goes wherever the lead goes. The boot still says DELTRON U.K., and how far the cord behind it reaches is for the buyer to decide.
