Sealed Archer Blister Card: ILC8069 1.2V Temperature Compensated Voltage Reference in TO-92

Condition

New, unused, still sealed in the original Archer blister card. The front of the card reads Cat. No. 276-1793, ARCHER ELECTRONIC PARTS, ILC8069, VOLTAGE REFERENCE 1.2VDC, MADE IN SINGAPORE, CUSTOM PACKAGED IN USA BY RADIO SHACK, A Division of Tandy Corporation, Ft. Worth, Texas 76102, with an old handwritten shelf sticker in the upper corner repeating the catalog number. The blister is intact and the device is captive inside it; two of the three formed bubbles on the card are empty by design. Photographed out of the blister window, the TO-92 body shows a legible manufacturer logo over 8069 with a grade suffix, and 8231 on the line beneath it, the usual date-code position. The three leads are straight, bright, and full length with no cut or bend marks. The cardstock carries the shelf age you would expect: the back is yellowed, the edges are worn, and there are surface creases across the printed panel. No electrical testing was performed, because the card has not been opened.

No. The blister is sealed and the device is captive inside it. The close-up photos were taken through and around the clear blister, which is why the leads are visible but the card is still intact.

Why does the front say ILC8069 and the back say ICL8069?

That difference is printed on the card itself, not a typo in this listing. The front panel and the technical panel disagree, and the industry-standard spelling is ICL8069. Search either way and you are looking at this same TO-92 reference.

Has this one been tested electrically?
