Product Overview
This is the spring-loaded strut nut whose body carries a single raised marking, "228", sitting right above the threaded hole; that number and the serrated teeth along both long edges are the only markings visible anywhere in these five photos. The long cone spring is still attached, and the body shows the bright silver, faintly blue-toned surface you can see in the photos. Cooper B-Line, now Eaton B-Line, numbers this N22 series of channel nuts by thread, and 228 is the 3/8-16 member of it.
