Winbond Parts
Winbond Electronics was founded in 1987 in the Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan and makes DRAM and flash memory chips.
The Winbond parts here are SPI serial NOR flash chips in SOIC-8 packages from the W25X and W25Q SpiFlash families, and SDRAM.
How to spot one: W25X parts support dual-output SPI, and W25Q parts are a superset that adds quad I/O SPI. The digits after the family letter give the density in megabits (16 for 16 Mbit, 32 for 32 Mbit).
