Product Overview

The units we photographed carry three lines of light-colored ink on a black plastic TO-92 body: a K logo and 3D on the top line, A1270 on the second, Y and a dot on the third. A1270 is the short body marking for the Japanese-convention type 2SA1270, a PNP silicon epitaxial planar transistor, and the trailing Y is the hFE classification rank, so the ordering number for these is 2SA1270-Y. The K logo is the KEC (Korea Electronics Co., Ltd.) mark, and the leads on these units are splayed in the standard TO-92 spread with ends cut square, bright on two and duller grey on the third.
