The TO-220 body is marked LM7808CT, with the National N logo on the line above it, immediately left of a lot code that photographs as 47XX. The metal tab carries the usual mounting hole and shows light scuffing and handling marks from its service life. All three leads are present, each sleeved in black heat shrink and joined to a short three wire pigtail in red, tan and orange that ends in a small orange rectangular connector housing. Nothing has been tested electrically here, and no dimension is quoted because no scale appears in these photos. What the camera shows is the spec.
