Product Overview
Deltrol Pneu-Trol C20B Brass Inline Check Valve - 1/4" NPTF, 2000 PSI, Ball Check, Unused NOS
Condition
Unused NOS sourced from a government research facility. In original manufacturer's packaging - box shows wear but the valve itself is in perfect condition. Engraved markings confirm model C 20 B, Pneu-Trol, and Deltrol Fluid Products Bellwood, Ill. Female NPT port threads are clean with no damage, hex flats show only light machining marks, and there is no corrosion. Evaluation: Visual inspection only. Function testing not performed.

Product Overview
Deltrol Fluid Products C20B inline check valve, also marketed under the Pneu-Trol name, manufactured in Bellwood, Illinois. Brass body with female-to-female 1/4" NPTF ports. Ball check design allows free flow in one direction and blocks reverse flow. Rated to 2000 PSI with a cracking pressure of 1 to 2.5 PSI. Maximum flow rate 3.00 GPM. Operating temperature range -30° to +400° F. Cv factor 0.54. Flow direction indicated by an arrow engraved on the body.

Applications
- Maintenance tech isolates a section of a hydraulic circuit, depressurizes the line, pulls a failed check valve, and threads in the C20B with pipe sealant to restore unidirectional flow before bringing the machine back online
- System fabricator drops the C20B into a custom hydraulic power unit during assembly to prevent pump cavitation or hold pressure in an accumulator - standard 1/4" NPTF fit, no custom machining required
- R&D engineer integrates the C20B into a prototype fluid circuit to control flow direction on a test bench and validate system behavior before committing to a final design
- Hobbyist or maker building a pneumatic actuator rig or low-pressure fluid control project uses the C20B to lock in one-way flow - brass body handles a wide range of shop fluids and the low 1-2.5 PSI cracking pressure works well in light-duty circuits
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the ball check version or the poppet check version?
This is the standard ball check version. The ball check is elastomer-free and rated to 2000 PSI. The optional poppet check with Viton O-ring is a separate variant rated to 60 PSI - that is not what is listed here.
What fluids is the brass body compatible with?
The C20B is a brass body valve. Verify that your specific fluid is compatible with brass and with any internal components before installing. The ball check version is elastomer-free, which removes O-ring material compatibility as a concern.
Does this fit standard NPT pipe fittings?
The ports are 1/4" NPTF female-to-female. NPTF threads are dimensionally compatible with NPT fittings in most applications, though NPTF is a dryseal thread form designed for pressure-tight connections without sealant.
What is included with this valve?
The valve only. Original manufacturer's packaging is included. No additional fittings or hardware.
A brass check valve stamped in Bellwood, Illinois - built when American fluid power hardware was made to last a few decades, not a few seasons. Thread it in, set the flow direction, and let it do its one job quietly for the next twenty years.
