Product Overview
The Fuse You Can Reach Without Opening the Panel
Condition
Unused new old stock. The body carries a dark finish, the knurled screw cap has FUSE molded into its face four times around a pair of rotation arrows, and the diamond flange has one clean screw hole at each end. In two of the photos the cap is unscrewed for the camera, showing a bright plated threaded ferrule on the cap and a matching plated receptacle in the body, both dry and clear of corrosion; no fuse is installed and none is included. The black sleeving over the back of the body shows a few light surface specks and the cap face catches some shallow marks under the light, the sort of thing a part picks up sitting on a shelf. More than one is in stock, so the photographed piece is representative of what ships.

Product Overview
This is a panel mount fuse holder assembly, cataloged as Bussmann and rated 600V, 0-20A for midget class fuses, built in the screw cap style that lets an operator change a fuse from the front of an enclosure instead of opening the door and hunting for a puller. It goes through a panel cutout and fastens with two screws through a diamond flange rather than a threaded bushing and locknut, so the hole pattern matters as much as the bore. Two black leads leave the back of the body under black insulating sleeving, and the lead jacket is printed with AWM hookup wire markings that include 600V, 150C and UL file E25635; the ends arrive stripped back to bare conductor, ready for a crimp terminal or a terminal block. Our record lists the leads as 16 AWG, which is not legible in these photos. The body is wrapped in opaque black sleeving, so no rating text is legible on the holder itself in these photos, and the 600V and 0-20A figures come from the catalog record for this part. Not confirmed - verify against the datasheet before use.
Key Features
- Panel mount fuse holder for midget class fuses, cataloged 600V, 0-20A
- Knurled screw cap with FUSE molded into the face and rotation arrows
- Diamond mounting flange with a screw hole at each end
- Bright plated threaded ferrule on the cap, matching plated receptacle in the body
- Two factory attached leads exiting under black insulating sleeving
- Lead jacket printed with AWM markings including 600V, 150C and UL file E25635
- Lead ends stripped back to bare conductor
- Front accessible fuse changes once the holder is mounted
- Unused new old stock, no fuse included
Applications
- Machine builder fusing a control transformer secondary in a small enclosure, with the cap facing out so a fuse change does not mean opening the door
- Sign or lighting tech swapping a cracked screw cap holder in a fixture that already has the two hole flange pattern
- Restoration of a bench supply or test set whose original front panel fuse holder is missing
- Panel shop keeping a few on the shelf so a blown midget fuse never turns into a wiring change
Frequently Asked Questions
What size fuse does it take?
Midget class fuses, the 13/32 inch diameter by 1-1/2 inch long size, per our catalog record for this holder. No fuse is included, and the holder is photographed empty with the cap off, so check your intended fuse for fit before final assembly.
How does it mount?
Through a panel cutout, held by two screws through the diamond flange. The older description for this part called for a threaded body and nut; the photos show a two hole flange instead, so plan on screws and match the pattern in your panel. We have not measured the cutout diameter or the hole spacing here.
Where do the 600V and 0-20A ratings come from?
The catalog record. The holder body is wrapped in opaque black sleeving in all seven photos, so no rating text is legible on it, and the only printed electrical markings we can read are on the lead jacket. Not confirmed - verify against the datasheet before use.
What are the leads like?
Two black leads leave the back of the body under black sleeving, jacket printed with AWM style markings including 600V, 150C and UL file E25635. The ends are stripped to bare conductor. Our record lists 16 AWG; that gauge is not legible in these photos.
Why buy exactly the number I need here?
Because a fuse holder is something you count, not something you collect. If the panel has three fused circuits, buy three and be done, instead of a box of twenty five that leaves twenty two in a drawer for the next decade. Each one sells as a single unused holder of the type photographed here, priced one at a time, and you can add the exact count to the order. Shipping is a flat $8, free once the order passes $28, and orders leave the Idaho warehouse the same or next business day.
Someone molded the word FUSE into this cap four times, with arrows, because they knew it would be read in bad light by a person already having a bad morning. Put it in your panel and the next blown circuit is a thirty second job at the door instead of a teardown.
