The Elite parts here are small-signal NPN silicon epitaxial transistors in TO-92 plastic cases, sold under the Japanese 2SC numbers C1959 and C3198 with the Y gain group.
How to spot one: Japanese-numbered transistors often drop the 2S from the body marking, so a part marked C1959 is a 2SC1959. The 2SC prefix marks an NPN part, and the letter after the number is the gain group; match it when you replace one in a matched or biased circuit. Check the pin order too, since TO-92 pinouts differ between makers.
