Product Overview
Allen-Bradley Bulletin 800H Flush Head Push Button with a Bulletin 800T Shallow Contact Block
Condition
Unused, new old stock in the original Allen-Bradley cartons. The set photographed here was unpacked for the camera. It shows the 800H operator with its black flush head cap and hex mounting body, two black mounting and locking rings, two gold-tone plated mounting screws, one small yellow plastic insert, and one 800T-XD1 shallow contact block with a clear housing over a black base and bright brass terminal screws. The button bezel and hex body have a dull matte surface with light handling marks and a little shelf dust; nothing is bent, cracked or wired. The cartons read 800H-AR2 SER F and 800T-XD1 SER D, both marked MADE IN U.S.A.

Product Overview
This is a 30.5mm panel-mount control station pair from two of Allen-Bradley's long-running families: the Bulletin 800H bootless flush head push button unit, catalog 800H-AR2, black cap, and the Bulletin 800T shallow contact block, catalog 800T-XD1. The 800H carton is printed TYPE 4, 4X, 13 for washdown and oil-tight panel duty, and the 800T carton is printed SHALLOW BLOCK 1 N.O. The contact block itself carries UL, CSA and CE marks with 600V max and the NEMA A600 and Q600 contact designations legible through the clear housing. Together they make one momentary, non-illuminated operator station for a standard 30.5mm mounting hole, the size that has filled machine panels and motor control cabinets for decades. Both pieces are U.S. built and both cartons are present.

Applications
- Maintenance electrician replacing a broken start button on a legacy machine panel without redrilling the 30.5mm hole
- Panel builder assembling a small motor control station and matching existing Allen-Bradley 800T hardware
- Equipment restorer bringing an older production line back to original catalog numbers rather than adapting a metric operator
- Shop owner keeping one spare oil-tight operator on the shelf so a stuck button does not stop a shift
Frequently Asked Questions
How many contacts does the block have?
The 800T-XD1 carton in the photos is printed SHALLOW BLOCK 1 N.O., so plan on one normally open contact. Check that against your schematic before you order, and if your circuit needs a second contact you will want an additional block.
Will this button work with other Allen-Bradley 30.5mm hardware?
The 800T-XD1 is an Allen-Bradley 30.5mm contact block and the 800H-AR2 is an Allen-Bradley 30.5mm operator, which is why they are sold here together. Stacking depth, block count and any legend plate you want to add are not confirmed here - verify against the Allen-Bradley 800H and 800T catalog pages for your exact panel arrangement.
What exactly ships?
One 800H-AR2 push button operator and one 800T-XD1 shallow contact block, along with the mounting rings, the two mounting screws and the small yellow plastic insert that came with them, plus the original 800H and 800T cartons shown in the photos. That is one set. Nothing beyond what you see in the photographs is included, and the parts are not wired, tested or assembled for you.
Is the button tested?
No. These are unused, boxed shelf stock and we sell them as they came out of the carton. The photographs are the spec for the pieces shown, and the printed carton and block markings are the ratings we can confirm.
Why buy this photographed set instead of taking a chance on a surplus lot of panel hardware?
Because you get one identified, photographed set instead of a crate of mixed 30.5mm operators with no cartons and no catalog numbers. The 800H-AR2 operator and the 800T-XD1 shallow block are shown here with their original Allen-Bradley boxes, so you can see the catalog numbers and the condition of the set we photographed. We hold more than one of these sets, and only the set in these photographs has been examined here - the series letters on the cartons you receive may differ from the SER F and SER D shown, so ask first if a specific series matters to you. Panel work rarely calls for ten identical buttons; it calls for the right one, once. Shipping is a flat $8, free once your order passes $28, and orders leave our Idaho warehouse the same or next business day.
Bulletin 800H hardware spent decades under the thumbs of machine operators who never once thought about it, which is about the highest compliment a push button can earn. Fit it to your 30.5mm hole, land the shallow block behind it, and let it go back to being ignored.
