The card photographs clean: green PCB, black passive heatsink with no bent fins, bright gold AGP fingers with no slot rash, and no dust or corrosion anywhere on the board. Front silkscreen reads matrox F7012-03 REV. A COPYRIGHT 2001, and the two Samsung K4D263238K-UC50 memory devices are marked 731. The reverse carries a white regulatory label reading MGI G55+MDHA32DBF, 309, MADE IN CHINA, a RoHS label dated 2007-10-12, and a teal inventory barcode reading KFE42072. The small ETON ET166 daughterboard that carries the blue HD-15 VGA connector is hand-marked E41 in black marker, and the DVI-I connector is soldered to the main board at J4.
