GE Thermal Overload Heater Element, Code C6.95A, Unused From Old Stock

Condition

Unused, new old stock, clean and in excellent condition. The photographs show the element loose and by itself: a light tan fiber insulating base with a brass eyelet terminal at each end and a formed metal heater wire that rises from the base and returns to it, each end flattening into a curled tab that wraps around the outside of an eyelet rather than passing through it. Both eyelet bores are open and clear in the photos, as they need to be for the relay's terminal screws. The eyelets are bright brass with no green or dark tarnish, the wire carries an even matte factory finish, and the base shows no scorching, cracking, or mounting scars. The underside of the base carries the ink marking C6.95A, with the last character running right to the edge of the base. Against the Fowler inch rule in the photos the base measures approximately 1.3 inches long, and the whole element sits under two inches in every direction. No packaging, retaining hardware, or mounting screws appear in the photos.
