Condition
New, unused stock from a factory carton labeled EFHM-75. The photographed sample was taken out of the box for the camera. The malleable iron body carries a matte gray protective finish with the pebbled texture of a fresh casting, and one hex flat carries a raised circular maker's mark. The cast hook eye is closed by a slotted machine screw that threads across the opening. The threaded nipple threads into the base of the casting and comes out cleanly, shown separated in one photo so you can see both the female hub inside the casting and the through-bore of the nipple. Fine lengthwise marks on the nipple are mill and plating artifacts from threaded pipe stock, not wrench or installation damage - the hex flats are unmarked.
