What voltage do I get out of it?

Two 1.5V AA cells in the usual series arrangement give 3V nominal. The base is molded with polarity symbols for each bay - follow them when you load cells, and confirm the lead polarity with a meter before wiring into a circuit.

Are batteries included?

No. The holder ships empty and loose, exactly as photographed. You supply the AA cells.

Will rechargeable NiMH AA cells fit?

Physically yes - NiMH AA is the same R6 / size 15 cell envelope. Electrically, NiMH runs about 1.2V per cell instead of 1.5V, so a loaded pair sits near 2.4V nominal rather than 3V. Size your circuit accordingly.

How long are the wire leads?

Not confirmed. The photo was not shot against the ruler, so we are not quoting a length or a wire gauge. Assume you may need to extend or trim, and measure the part in hand before you build a harness around it.
